PURPOSE: A roll dies of a rolling hardening apparatus for wire rod is provided to improve roughness and hardness of the surface of the wire rod by further increasing a frictional area between the surface of the wire rod and the roll dies. CONSTITUTION: In a rolling hardening apparatus comprising a first head stock(40) which is arranged on a frame(10), a first roll dies(50) rotationally coupled to the first head stock(40), a second head stock(60) which is installed in a row the first head stock(40) in such a manner that the second head stock(60) is spaced apart from the first head stock(40) in a certain distance, a second roll dies(70) rotationally coupled to the second head stock(60) in such a manner that the second roll dies(70) is spaced apart from the first roll dies(50) in a certain distance so as to transfer the wire rod to the rear side as rolling the surface of the wire rod that approaches by being rotated in the same direction, and a support blade(90) which is arranged at the lower part between the first and second roll dies(50,70) to support the wire rod that is approached between the first and second roll dies(50,70), the roll dies of the rolling hardening apparatus for wire rod is characterized in that reverse crowning surfaces having a certain curvature are formed on the outer circumference of the first and second roll dies(50,70) by thickening front and rear end parts of the first and second roll dies(50,70) and thinning the central part of the first and second roll dies(50,70) so that thickness is gradually thinned as it goes from both ends of the first and second roll dies(50,70) to the central part thereof, and the wire rod horizontally passing between the first and second roll dies(50,70) is contacted with the overall outer circumference of the first and second roll dies(50,70) through the reverse crowning surfaces.
