摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition device which confirms generation of discharge of secondary output of an ignition coil and detects the discharge duration, by monitoring collector voltage of a power element, and simplifies output form of the detected result with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: This ignition device for an internal combustion engine has a function of detecting the level of high voltage generated from a primary coil, and superposing discharge information signalized by a voltage doubler circuit on an ignition control signal line from an ECU to transmit the discharge information.
