PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone rubber composition for a fixing roll which ensures little change of the solid state properties of rubber suitable for a silicon rubber layer of a fixing roll and gives superior adhesion durability of the roll. SOLUTION: The silicone rubber composition forming the first silicone rubber layer of a fixing roll having the first silicone rubber layer on the periphery of a roll shaft and a second silicone rubber layer formed with a liquid addition curable dimethyl silicone rubber composition so as to cover the first silicone rubber layer is a liquid addition curable phenyl silicone rubber composition consisting essentially of (a) an alkenyl-containing polyorganosiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups in one molecule and having 5-30 mol% phenyl groups bonding to silicon atoms based on all organic groups bonding to silicon atoms, (b) an organo-hydrogen-polysiloxane containing at least two hydrogen atoms bonding directly to a silicon atom in one molecule and (c) a platinum family metal catalyst.
