PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a photographic processor and to lower the manufacture cost. SOLUTION: This photographic processor is provided with a support mechanism which supports a series of photographic films and a conveying mechanism 9 which conveys the photographic films supported by the support mechanism to a scanner side. On the conveyance start side of the conveying mechanism 9, a film guide is provided in a free opening/closing state at a closure attitude for guiding and an opening attitude for maintenance and on the opposite side from the film guide 11 across the conveyance path of the conveying mechanism 9, the light emission part 12A or light reception part 12B of a 1st film presence sensor 12 and the light emission part 13A or light reception part 13B of a 2nd film presence sensor 14 are provided at a specific interval in the conveyance direction of the photographic films 2. A judging means is provided which judges that the film guide 11 is opened when the light reception parts 12B and 13B change from the light reception states to the shading states at the same time or nearly at the same time.
