PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe for measuring instruments which performs a measuring work efficiently and safely. SOLUTION: Contacts 6, 7 are provided at both ends of a probe body 2 slidably housed in a case 3, and a switching means 21 is provided on the body 2 for switching over the contacts 6, 7 each movable out of and into the case 3 such that one contact projects out while the other contact enters into the case 3.
