PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface layer of a blanket for printing which has pliability and relaxing properties and therefore are excellent in paper release properties, dot reproducibility, ink transfer properties and durability, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: An oil-resistant polymer having an unsaturated bond is cross- linked with a liquid polymer shown by HS-(C2 H4 -O-CH2 -O-C2 H4 -S-S-)n (where (n) is an integer of 1 or above). Cross-linking with HS-(C2 H4 -O-CH2 -O-C2 H4 -S-S-)n brings about advantages that pliability becomes larger and durability is more improved than usual sulfur cross-linking.
