METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING COMBUSTIBLE REFUSE INTO REFUSE DERIVED FUEL (RDF)

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for forming combustible refuse into refuse derived fuel (RDF) is provided, in which waste organic sludge containing 50 to 90 % of protein is used as an adhesive agent. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of feeding the crushed and dried combustible wastes such as waste paper, waste vinyl to a hopper(10) together with waste organic sludge containing 50 to 90 % of protein; transferring and mixing the combustible waste to a discharge hole by a screw(30) built in a case(20); and extruding the waste to fabricate RDF at 120 to 130 deg.C at 2 to 3 kgf/cm¬2.
