PURPOSE: An intake air temperature sensor is installed, and the intake air temperature sensor receives an intake air temperature information in starting when a coolant temperature sensor is out of order to preheat the intake air. CONSTITUTION: A start key switch is switched to on terminal from off terminal, a controller receives information to decide disorder of a coolant temperature sensor(S1). If the coolant temperature sensor is out of order, the intake air temperature information is used instead of the coolant temperature information to decide whether it is a startable air temperature(S4). Then, a preheating plug is operated(S6).
