PURPOSE: A method for an improved alphabet soup game, a game machine, a medium, and a system are provided to play a game with interest and enhance an intelligence, a language ability, and a foreign language ability through a game regardless of on-line or off-line. CONSTITUTION: The first gamer expresses one word and obtains 10 scores. The second gamer expresses one word corresponded to the end character of the above word within the time limit and obtains 10 scores. If the first gamer requests a check, the second gamer expresses one word corresponded to the end character of the last word within a time limit(S10,S12,S20). If the second gamer succeeds the above stage of the alphabet soup game, the score of the first gamer is added to the score of the second gamer(S30,S32,S34). If a game stage related to the "check" is completed, a gamer progresses the alphabet soup game(S50). If a score of a gamer is reached to an objected score, the gamer becomes a winner of the game(S60,S70).
