PURPOSE: A rotor fixing device for a fan motor is provided to maintain a stable coupling force of rotor, while improving workability and minimizing parts count and assembly process. CONSTITUTION: A rotor fixing device comprises a rotor(200) constituted by a fan(220) where a rotation shaft(210) is connected, and a magnet attached to the fan; a stator(300) where an armature coil corresponding to the magnet and a bearing(330) for insertion of the rotation shaft are mounted to a support frame of a motor housing; and an escape prevention unit(400) for interconnecting the rotor and the stator, and which is press fit to the center of the bottom of the fan and the top of a boss(320). The escape prevention unit includes hook pieces having tilt surfaces(S) and which are opposed with each other at the bottom surface of the fan and the top of the boss.
