PURPOSE: A function to adjust engine torque reflecting driving road condition and driver's taste is applied to reduce air fuel ratio in a diesel engine. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling fuel injection comprises a driving state detecting member(100), an engine controller(200), and a driving member(300). The engine controller outputs control signal to the driving state detecting member, receives acceleration pedal position, a kickdown switch state, a setting switch and an engine rpm to calculate engine load. If the acceleration pedal position, engine load, and engine rpm are over predetermined values, when the kickdown switch and the setting switch are not 'off', a multi engine torque map is applied to output a control signal for fuel injection. When the kickdown switch is off, an alarming signal for disorder of the kickdown switch is outputted.
