PURPOSE: A buckle device for a seat belt of a vehicle is provided to improve the convenience of use for a seat belt by automatically lifting a buckle upwards when a user uses the seat belt. CONSTITUTION: A buckle(30) is installed in a chassis floor of a folded seat(10). A rod is integrally formed with a rear portion of the buckle(30) and fixed by a supporter and a hinge. A torsion spring is elastically supported by the hinge so as to allow the buckle(30) to move upwards. A button(20) is slidably installed at the chassis floor, which makes contact with a leg frame(11). The first connection member(21) is positioned below the button(20). A cylinder(22) is positioned at the very lower portion of a pushing member of the first connection member(21). The second connection member(23) is integrally formed with a stopper(24). A restoring spring(26) is provided to return the stopper(24) to its initial position.
