PURPOSE: A wiper blade embedding a hot wire is provided to promptly remove the snow or frost on the glass of a vehicle, to smoothly and promptly operate a wiper blade made up of a rubber material, and to minimize the power consumption of a battery by supplying currents to a hot wire from a piezoelectric element. CONSTITUTION: A wiper blade(20) includes an edge portion(22) rubbing against a glass when the blade moves and a bending groove(24) for bending the blade opposite to the moving direction of the blade. A hot wire(26) supplied with currents from piezoelectric elements(40) is embedded in the edge portion. The piezoelectric elements generate currents by being compressed or stretched when the bending groove bends. With the currents, the hot wire generates heat.
