PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-air rotary drier of a simple structure, which shortens drying time and improves drying efficiency by effectively heating and peeling an object to be treated, which has stuck to the inner wall of a drum. SOLUTION: The hot-air rotary drier is provided with a rotary drum 2 to which wet refuse is consecutively inputted, and a hot air supplying device 3, which is disposed in the drum 2, for supplying hot air thereto. An induction heating apparatus 4 that serves as a noncontact heater is provided at the side of a wet refuse input port of the drum 2.
