PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information confirming method superior in convenience and an information communication system. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a storage server 400, and information units 100a and 100b having a communication means 20 communicating with the server 400 via a telecommunication line 300, an operation means 50 transmitting information including text data to the server 400 when a user is a sender and receiving the information from the server 400 when the user is a receiver, an output means confirming information and a control means 40 controlling the respective means. The operation means 50 selects to confirm the text data by inversion display in the display means 30 being the output means and sound output in the sound means being the output means with either 'one row' or 'number of characters'.
