PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mail system for instantaneously and automatically returning URL of the Internet to a portable terminal after a mail for the portable terminal is received from a general user. SOLUTION: Information is obtained from a company who intends to perform an event, a campaign on the like and a site (i-mode (R) site) for the portable terminal is constructed. A mail address suitable for the portable terminal which is for the event is issued. The return mail for the portable terminal is generated and the site for the portable terminal is mentioned. The public is informed of the issued mail address suitable for the portable terminal by the medium such as a printed matter. When the general user who intends to obtain information transmits the mail, the return mail is automatically transmitted to the return mail address. The user receiving the mail can refer to information described in the mail.
