PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping control system for conveyance, feedback controller, etc., which prevent vibrations that occur in a conveyed article without sensing the vibrations of the article on-line. SOLUTION: The configuration of the feedback controller is limited to a physically meaningful combination of basic elements such as a notch filter, a lowpass filter and a PID element, and a design specification is given by both a frequency specification and a time specification in order to optimally impart an element value of the feedback controller.
