PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car body rear part structure of an automobile capable of enhancing rigidity of a car body and providing an efficient dispersion of a suspension input load. SOLUTION: A wheel apron 2 and an arch inner 3 are joined to a side edge of a floor panel 1 and a rear pillar 10 is formed by a rear quarter inner panel of which a lower end is joined to the wheel apron 2 and a rear quarter outer panel 12 of which a lower end is joined to the arch inner 3. The car body rear part structure is provided with a reinforcing rear pillar 15 forming a hollow close cross section shape part 21 continued from the rear quarter inner panel 11 to the wheel apron 2 in cooperation with the rear quarter inner panel 11 and the wheel apron 2; and a bulk head 30 for joining the reinforce rear pillar 15 and the floor panel 1.
