PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure well-timed replacement of a V-belt when a side of the V-belt abrades to given abrasion loss owing to transmission of driving force by a power transmission device. SOLUTION: The power transmission device 14 comprises a driving pulley 23 supported on a frame 15 so as to rotate on an axis 29, a driven pulley 24 supported on the frame 15 so as to rotate on another axis 31 parallel to the axis 29, and the V-belt 27 wrapped along V-grooves 25 and 26 formed in the two respective pulleys 23 and 24 so as to transmit power from the driving pulley 23 to the driven pulley 24. The sides 37 of the V-belt 27 have shallow recessed portions 43 and 44.
