PURPOSE: A system and a method for a Java compile-on-demand service for enhancing a speed processing a Java program of an information terminal are provided to enable the information terminal using a limited memory and a relatively slow CPU to rapidly execute the Java program on the Internet. CONSTITUTION: The Java program providing servers(10,12) supply the Java class files through the Internet. The information terminals(30,32) can access to the Internet. A compile-on-demand server(20,22) download the requested Java class file from the Java program providing servers(10,12) by receiving a service request from the information terminals(30,32). The compile-on-demand servers(20,22) convert the Java class file into a native component of a format executable on the information terminals(30,32) and transmit the native component to the information terminals(30,32). The compile-on-demand servers(20,22) include a complier converting the java class file consisting of the Java bytecode into the native component directly operated on the CPU of the information terminals(30,32) without a bytecode interpreter or a JIT(Just In Time) complier.
