PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for photoprinting by which photoprinting efficiency can be remarkably improved. SOLUTION: In the apparatus and a method for photoprinting, a drive pulse for generation of the heating value is generated to control the pulse cycle of the drive pulse corresponding to the gradation of respective pixels which form images based on image information. While, the drive pulse is set to two or more pulse widths different to each other so as to be supplied to a recording head few times each continuously and alternately. |
