PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment improved in operability which can transmit a plurality of documents to respective transmission destination in a single operation. SOLUTION: When there are a plurality of documents to be sent, they are put together with partition paper between one document and another, and after images of the documents which have been put together are read by a read part, the documents are discriminated, according to the position of image data which correspond to the partition paper among the pieces of read image data.
