PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide metal wired plate glass with less than 6.2 mm thickness which can be manufactured without increasing grinding amount or without causing maldistribution of net or wire therein. SOLUTION: This plate glass inserted with metal wire substantially comprises, in terms of mol% of oxides, 65 to 72% SiO2 , 0.5 to 4% Al2 O3 , 0.2 to 5% B2 O3 , 10 to 19% CaO+MgO, and 11 to 16% Li2 O+Na2 O+K2 O.
