PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that a vacuum evacuation process is troublesome, that an operation error is easily generated because an operation is performed in a vacuum, that the storage of a vacuum jug is troublesome and that the cost of the vacuum jug is high because the operation is performed by man power. SOLUTION: The jug vacuum evacuation apparatus conveys a jug cartridge in which a jug is built. The on-line jug vacuum evacuation apparatus is constituted by having a switchback means 62 which drops an empty jug 61 through a drop pipe 65 from an empty-jug supply means 60 and on which the empty jug 61 is placed via a switchback pipe 67, a vacuum evacuation means which vacuum-evacuates the inside of the empty jug 61 in the switchback means 62, a pneumatic conveying means by which the vacuum-evacuated empty jug is sent out to a pneumatic conveying line 64 via the switchback pipe 67 by a pneumatic conveying operation and a route-changeover means by which the drop pipe 65 and the line 64 are changed over with reference to the switchback pipe 67.
