PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-collision testing apparatus by which the space between a right guide rail and a left guide rail can be used effectively, by arranging a traction means between the right and left guide rails. SOLUTION: In the vehicle-collision testing apparatus, a vehicle is pulled to a part near a barrier by using a traction device 16, and the vehicle is separated from the traction device 16 in the halfway part of its traction, to make the vehicle collide with the barrier. The right and left rails 26 are installed near a running road surface 12a, on which the vehicle is run in order to guide the traction device 16 to the barrier, and the traction device 16 is suspended freely runnable between the guide rails 26.
