PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber fixing device that precludes the possibility of damaging an optical fiber and that has a constant holding force, in making a grating for an optical fiber. SOLUTION: The device is composed of a metallic V-grooved plate on which an optical fiber is placed, a rubber-made magnet-compounded second holding plate which holds the optical fiber from above, and a first holding plate to which the second holding plate is stuck.
