PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lining material measuring cell capable of diagnosing a lining material under a liquid environment. SOLUTION: The lining material measuring cell for performing the diagnosis of the deterioration of the lining material 12 applied to a metal matrix 11 by an AC impedance method is equipped with a container 1 housing a polymeric gel 3 and opened at one end thereof, the ion permeable film 4 attached to the opening part of the container 1 so as to hermetically real the polymeric gel 3 in the container 1, the electrode 5 immersed in the polymeric gel 3 and a press means for pressing the container 1 to bring the ion permeable film 4 into contact with the lining material 12 under pressure.
