PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for handling objects to be measured which can enhance the handling speed and increase the handling work efficiency by nearly simultaneously measuring adjacent objects to be measured and handling the objects altogether. SOLUTION: Fruits and vegetables A (for example, plums) are placed in a state to be adjacent to each other with respect to supporting rollers 13 which constitute a sorting conveyor 2 of two streaks. Right and left fruits and vegetables A are rotated by a predetermined angle (for example, approximately 360 degrees by approximately every 120 degrees) by rotating the supporting rollers 13 by a rotating device 3. At the same time, both side peripheral surfaces of the right and left fruits and vegetables A are nearly simultaneously imaged by right side imaging cameras 33a-33c and left side imaging cameras 34a-34c which constitute an item measuring device 4. On the basis of the formed image information, each of predetermined items of the right and left fruits and vegetables A transferred by the two-streak sorting conveyor 2 is totally judged by a personal computer 36.
