PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote audio/video communication system which makes close cooperation of a site with the head office and smooth active field operation compatible with each other. SOLUTION: An expert in the head office can give an indication to the site by using voice and image, while seeing a photographed site image through a system 2 for a site, via a communication circuit, so that various kinds of actions like rescue are made effective. In particular, processing of large load such as conversion, compression, extension and transmission reception of signals in the system 2 is treated by a signal processing unit P using a computer or the like, so that a wearable unit W which a site worker wears is made light and small and does not hinder emergent activity like rescue.
