摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical quantity adjustment device that can quickly adjust a sound volume into a desired numerical quantity depending on the state of repeated depression of an operation key. SOLUTION: A volume controller 1 is described in which a user depresses a volume UP key 2A and a volume DOWN key 2B to adjust a sound volume into a desired sound volume level. The built-in microcomputer of the volume controller 1 is provided with such functions as; an operation state determination means 10 that determines whether the volume UP key 2A and the volume DOWN key 2B are repetitively depressed within a prescribed short time; and a step number variable control means 11 that changes a sound volume level by a unit step number when the operation state determination means 10 determines that the key is not being repeatedly depressed but only discontinuously depressed or changes the sound volume level with a specific step number greater than the unit step number when the operation state determination means 10 determines the repeated depression.
