PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary steam feed piping system for simply and economically preventing drain stagnation in a steam pipe. SOLUTION: For removing drain stagnation 6 in a horizontal part of the steam pipe 3 on the wake flow side of a closed selector valve 1 of a steam feed source during a normal operation of a boiler and for dispensing with a piping facility for draining to the outside, the horizontal part of the steam pipe 3 is disposed so as to direct the form flow side of steam flow downward, a horizontal steam pipe part in the bottom part of the gradient on the form flow side is connected to one end of a drain stagnation preventing pipe 7, the other end of the drain stagnation preventing pipe 7 is connected to a vertical steam pipe 5 on the wake flow side in the flow steam, and the drain stagnation 6 collected in the horizontal part of the steam pipe 3 is made to flow in the vertical steam pipe 5 through the drain stagnation preventing pipe 7. The drain in the horizontal steam pipe always flows through the drain stagnation preventing pipe 7 to the wake flow side, so that drain does not stagnate in the horizontal steam pipe.
