PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water heating device capable of easily detecting a trouble of a circulating pump for hot water heating. SOLUTION: In the hot water heating device where a heat exchanger 11 for a hot water feeder and hot water terminal devices 2 and 3 are interconnected through a circulation circuit having a circulation pump 5, a DC pump having a number of revolutions detecting mechanism is used as the circulation pump 5. The number of revolutions of the circulation pump 5 detected by the number of revolutions detecting mechanism is monitored by a control unit 8, refuse clogging and idling of the circulation pump 5 is detected and the failure of the circulation pump 5 is prevented from occurring.
