PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator capable of surely stopping and retaining an output shaft at a preset position. SOLUTION: This actuator is provided with a pusher member 7 integrally turning with a wheel gear 6; a rotor 8 supporting rollers 9, 10, 11, and 12 and connected to the output shaft; and a roller guide 13 having step parts 13c and 13d, a first guide part 13a, and a second guide part 13b, and turning the output shaft 18 by pushing the rotor 8 via the roller 9, when the pusher member 7 is engaged with the roller 9 in the first guide part 13a, while capable of stopping and retaining the output shaft without engaging the pusher member 7 with the roller 9, when the rollers 9, 10, 11, and 12 are positioned in the step parts 13c and 13d.
