PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a tapping bush at a proper yield, relative to a raw material by a simple process, miniaturize the size and lighten the weight, and simply separate it from a plastic base material 9 at a disposal of a product. SOLUTION: This tapping bush is provided with a bush body 1, formed by bending a plate member 1' into a polygonal column. The bush body 1 is formed with screw grooves 5 for a female scare formed in its inner circumference and provided with slits 2 and 6 longitudinally, extending over the whole length of the bush body 1 and/or partitioning its one part and wedge-shaped lock projections 3 projecting from the outside of the bush body 1.
