PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimedia information system with which data showing contents use states can be accurately and easily collected. SOLUTION: An operation center 3 distributes to a server 10 contents designated in a channel unit through a network 1. The contents 17 are composed of web page groups that are independent of one another in each channel. An information terminal selects optional contents distributed to a connected server, displays a web page and utilizes the web page. Then, a user does not have to be aware of a link with a web page group of different channels in preparing a web page group of a certain channel because the contents 17 are independent of one another and can uniquely and freely prepare and distribute each web page group at an optional time. It is easy to perform processing that distributes respective desired contents to many servers 10 and customize the respective desired contents.
