PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveguide cross type directional coupler used for a high frequency circuit that can easily change a coupling amount so as to enhance the workability and reduce the cost. SOLUTION: A rotary disk 4 formed with a plurality of kinds of coupling holes 3A to 3H with different sizes and shapes is freely turnably fitted to a coupling part of two waveguides 1, 2. Turning the rotary disk 4 allows window parts 5A, 5B formed in advance to a common wall of the coupling part to select a desired coupling hole and to match the selected coupling hole. Thus, having only to turn the rotary disk 4 can easily change the coupling amount. The rotary disk 4 is fixed to a groove formed to its outer circumferential edge by using a fixing member 6 energized by a spring to the groove 7.
