PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand whereby the setting angle of an electronic appliance can be altered easily by a simple structure and wherein the extra-length of an external cord is stored. SOLUTION: The stand 3 attached to a stand attaching portion 6 provided on the rear surface of a CD receiver 1 comprises a stand main body 3A formed in the form of a hollow; a flange 3B provided in the bottom-surface portion of the stand main body 3A; and a fastening portion 3C provided in the flange 3B. The inner space of the stand main body 3A is used as a cord storing space 11 for storing therein an excessive-length portion 21 of a cord 12. In the bottom surface and a summit portion 13 of the stand main body 3A, cord inserting holes 14, 15 capable of the derivation/withdrawal of the cord 12 are provided. The fastening portion 3C is fastened by fastening screws to the stand attaching portion 6 of the CD receiver 1. When attaching the stand 3 to the portion 6 by reversing the stand 3 up and down, the setting angle of the CD receiver 1 is made different.
