PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a system for inspecting hermetic seal of a packing bag sealed hermetically while being filled with fluid or pasty content, e.g. grated horseradish, pasty horseradish or powder horseradish, in which incomplete hermetic seal is detected by representing the hermetic sealing state numerically using a weighing meter. SOLUTION: The system for inspecting hermetic seal of a packing bag 1 sealed hermetically while being filled with fluid or pasty content comprises a pair of conveyors 2 and 2 disposed oppositely at a constant interval, and a meter 3 for weighing a pressing force applied to the conveyors. The pair of conveyors are disposed oppositely at an interval slightly narrower than the thickness of the packing bag 1 and a packing bag 1 being inspected is carried between the pair of conveyors 2 and 2. A specified constant pressure level is stored in the weighing meter 3 and the conveyors are stopped when a pressing force, generated between the pair of conveyors when the packing bag 1 is carried between, is lower than the specified constant pressure level stored in the weighing meter and then an incompletely sealed packing bag is removed from the conveyor.
