On a front-lit projection screen of the type which on the backside of a transparent substrate (1) has both reflective as well as light-absorbing areas, the reflective areas (3) of the protruding prismatic bodies (4), which in at least one perpendicular plane on the backside has a principally triangular cross-section, and the light-absorbing sections (5) cover the side faces of the said prismatic bodies (4) laying against the back side of the screen.<IMAGE>
