PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Peltier module, such that even if at least one of a them connected in series and used has a cut wire, other normal Peltier modules can perform thermoelectric conversion. SOLUTION: The Peltier module 1 is equipped with a couple of substrates 2 and 3 and Peltier elements 4, 4, etc., which are provided successively between the couple of substrates 2 and 3 and connected in series with electrodes 5 formed on opposite surfaces of the substrate 2 and 3, and has on the substrates 2 and 3 a pair of terminal parts 6 and 7 which are connected to the pair of Peltier elements 4 and 4 positioned at both end parts, to supply DC voltages to the plurality of Peltier elements 4, 4, etc. Further, this Peltier module 1 is equipped with a switch means 11, which is connected in between the couple of terminal parts 6 and 7 and automatically short-circuits the pair of terminal parts 6 and 7 as the voltage between the couple of terminal parts 6 and 7 rises, if at least one of the plurality of Peltier elements 4, 4, etc., has a cut wire.
