PURPOSE: A light emitting device and an electronic apparatus using the same are provided to be capable of correcting the deterioration of the light emitting device due to the difference of light emitting duration by using a deterioration correcting part. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting device comprises a deterioration correcting part(100), a signal line driving circuit(101), a scanning line driving circuit(102), a pixel part(103), and a voltage source(104). The pixel part includes a plurality of pixels. Each pixel has a luminescence element. The deterioration correcting part corrects the voltage applied to each luminescence element of the pixel and the image signal supplied to the signal line driving circuit for constantly conserving the brightness of the luminescence element. The deterioration correcting part includes a counter part(105), a memory circuit part(106), and a correcting part(107).
