摘要

PURPOSE: To provide an air conditioner constituting its characteristic feature of improved workability at the time of assembling the air conditioner and a maintenance property and improved silence of the air conditioner having an outdoor unit with a built-in compressor. CONSTITUTION: It is possible to improve the silence by restraining leakage of driving sound of the compressor generated inside and sound of a refrigerant flowing in a refrigerant piping to the utmost by making a machinery chamber into a box type by providing upper and lower partition plates to cover a top surface of the machinery chamber between the machinery chamber with the built-in compressor and an outdoor control part positioned on an upper part of the machinery chamber, and to improve the workability and the maintenance property by carrying out wiring work at the time of assembly and maintenance only on a front surface of the outdoor unit, by relaying a wiring extending from the outdoor control part to the machinery chamber by providing a relay connector on the front surface side of the upper and lower partition plates.
