PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical control system 1 performing a synchronous control over a plurality of control boards wherein a synchronization signal Sy is transmitted or received by use of only the signal lines of connectors J1 on a cPCI bus 11 and, irrespective of slot positions for 1st and 2nd control boards 3, 4, the 2nd board 4 is set to receive the signal Sy. SOLUTION: In the 1st control board 3, an output signal control 35 is provided for outputting a check signal developed from the signal Sy and, in the 2nd control board 4, a signal selector for detecting a change in the signal Sy is provided for selecting and setting the signal line with the change detected therein as the line for receiving the signal Sy.
