PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label emission device and label emission method that are able to provide a sheet of a series of label pieces while facilitating separation of a label piece produced from a mount-less label.SOLUTION: A printer part comprises: a printer head 35 that prints product information on a mount-less label L on which a longitudinally extending un-coating area where adhesive is not applied is formed on a face (rear face) to be stuck; a platen roller 37 that longitudinally feeds out a mount-less label subjected to printing by a printing part; a cutter unit 40 that cuts off a product-information printed portion of a mount-less label, as a label piece LC; and a temporarily attaching part 50 configured such that a label piece is held and the upstream end part of the held label piece in the direction of feed out is superposed, in the direction of feed out, on the downstream end part of a mount-less label subsequently fed out. The un-coating area is formed at one of both ends of a face to be stuck, in a width direction substantially orthogonal to the longitudinal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
