PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem characteristic of a valve timing control device of an internal combustion engine in which a planet gear mechanism 25 is used as an actuation device 15 for actuate a mounting angle adjusting mechanism 4 and improve the durability of the planet gear mechanism 25. SOLUTION: A mounting angle stopper 60 is installed to a guide plate 24, which is integrated to a sun gear 30 in a body as an output element of the planet gear mechanism 25, to control rotation output when the rotation output quantity reaches a specified quantity, and a planet gear stopper 90 is arranged between a brake plate 35, which is integrated to a ring gear 31 in a body as the free element of the planet gear mechanism 25, and a carrier plate 32 as an input element.
