PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag making and packaging machine which molds a film pulled out from a film roll into a cylindrical shape with a former, prevents the film from being peeled from a roll core of the film roll, and achieves high reliability.SOLUTION: A bag making and packaging machine includes: a film roll holding part; a former body; a movable roller mechanism 12; an end edge detection part; and an air cylinder 15. The film roll holding part holds a film roll. The former body molds a sheet-like film pulled out from the film roll and conveyed into a cylindrical shape. The movable roller mechanism has movable rollers 14. The movable rollers are disposed between the film roll and the former body in a film conveyance direction, contact with the film conveyed, and guide the film. The end edge detection part detects an end edge of the film roll. The air cylinder reduces force exerted by the movable rollers on the film when the end edge of the film roll is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
