PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide registering equipment and a network managing system wherein the MAC addresses of user terminals can be registered simply. SOLUTION: A network managing system 1 has a registration managing equipment 10 connected with a utilization registering network 3 for registering MAC addresses and with a utilization objecting network 7 coupled to an Internet 5, which are constructed independently of each other, and has a DHCP server 20 connected with the utilization objecting network. The registration managing equipment so acquires the MAC addresses of user terminals 40 connected with the utilization registering network as to register the MAC addresses in a registered-information DB 15 integrated into it. Then, the registration managing equipment transmits the registered informations to the DHCP server. The DHCP server records additionally in its own MAC-address registering file the registered-informations transmitted from the registration managing equipment. Then, the DHCP server leases IP addresses only to the user terminals registered in the MAC-address registering file.
