PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening door operating device which includes a door closer being simple in structure and inexpensive in cost, obtains different spring force fit for the size and weight of a door only by exchanging buffer spring members, can employ various types of spring as the buffer spring member, and can commonly use component members except for the buffer spring member. SOLUTION: The door closer 5 is formed of a base plate 14, a link mechanism 17, the buffer spring member 12 which has one side thereof fixed to the base plate 14 and the other side thereof movably borne by the link mechanism 17, and a door stopper 13 which disengageably engages with and holds a rocking arm 17A at one end of the link mechanism when the opening door 3 is set at an open limit location. The link mechanism 17 displaces the movable bearing portion of the buffer spring member 12 by the rocking arm 17A at the one end thereof, and springingly energizes a front portion of the opening door in a closing direction and a rear portion of the same in an opening direction with a midpoint of oscillatory rotation as a dead point.
