PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unlock a locking in a horizontally moving and top-hung folding door from the outside in the emergency case. SOLUTION: A drop-in lock 28 operated by a cylinder mechanism freely engaged or disengaged to or from a guide rail 13 for a lower frame 12 is installed to the door-end stile 2 of a folding door body 1 while a hose end connection 20 is opened at the upper-lower intermediate place on the outdoor side of the door-end stile 2. A ratchet mounted on a drop-in lock releasing device 32 is removed at high water pressure by the supply of water for fire fighting from the hose end connection 20 and an urged piston 33 is projected. The drop-in lock 28 can be unlocked from the outdoor side by a slipping-off from the guide rail 13 of a rod 29 for the drop-in lock 28 by receiving the pushing of the piston.
