PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a quick-curing one-part coating composition having a composite curing mechanism of a curing system containing hydroxy group protected in the form of siloxy group and an isocyanate group and a photocuring system with a polymerizable unsaturated group and a method for coating finish using the coating composition as a top clear. SOLUTION: This coating composition comprises (a) a resin containing at least one or more kinds of functional groups selected from the siloxy group and isocyanate group, (b) a compound containing at least one or more kinds of functional groups selected from the siloxy group and isocyanate group and reactive with the functional groups contained in the resin (a), (c) a polymerizable unsaturated group-containing compound, (d) a siloxy group-dissociating catalyst and (e) a photopolymerization initiator.
